Fellow Binancians,
At 02:00 AM WAT on July 22, 2020, a delay occurred in the processing of NGN withdrawals as a result of service downtime with our payment provider, Flutterwave.
Binance’s NGN fiat channel experienced a 7-hour downtime due to a technical issue with processing NGN withdrawals. This caused approximately 1,300 withdrawal transactions to be queued and stuck in a pending state until 08:00 AM WAT - at which point all pending transactions were processed.
We are also aware of other withdrawal issues experienced on NGN fiat channel, for example users occasionally being unable to make NGN withdrawals after a certain time daily.
The Binance team is working around the clock to ensure these limitations are resolved. In the meantime, users are advised to still utilise our NGN fiat channel for withdrawals whenever available and also our P2P platform currently available on Binance.com.
