Fellow Binancians,
Binance Futures will conduct an upgrade to optimize the User Data Stream websocket of the USDT-margined futures contract API to provide better service for our users. This upgrade is estimated to complete on 2020/11/09. Here are the specific changes below:
- Once the upgrade is complete, the User Data Stream websocket will ONLY include delta changes in a user’s asset holdings, contract positions, or position settings that’s triggered by the latest transaction. Please refer to the USDT-Margined Futures API Websocket User Data Stream Upgrade for further explanation in different scenarios.
- Should you need a full sets of the asset holdings and positions, you could get them via the rest endpoints (GET /fapi/v2/account and GET /fapi/v2/positionRisk) and update local cache via the event ACCOUNT_UPDATE in USER-DATA-STREAM websocket.
- You MUST upgrade your trading bot if it relies on ACCOUNT_UPDATE to access the full sets of the asset holdings and positions.
- The changes mentioned above are now live on Futures Testnet. Users are encouraged to do the testing and upgrade the trading bot ASAP.
For further information, please refer to the detailed API documentation here.
Thanks for your support!
